“The Broad Pod” podcasts were created by Rebecca McQueen-Ruark and Jackie Smith to highlight community women’s impact on Owensboro.
A podcast she produces with students already exists at Kentucky Wesleyan College, and McQueen-Ruark thanks the college for allowing the two women to use its podcast studio.
She shared her family’s unique journey to parenthood on several podcasts and said sharing their story was just the beginning.
