BOISE, Idaho — The Boise police department is launching a podcast called “The BPD Beat,” which will feature staff and several topics “The BPD Beat.” It will cover various issues to help community members get to know department staff, better understand Boise Police’s community liaison work and learn more about the department’s values. A look behind the scenes of the Boise Police Department with host Captain Matt Bryngelson. He sits down with officers, detectives, and civilian staff as they share real stories about their work in Boise, Idaho.
Each episode features a different guest and subject. The first few podcasts focus on the department’s canines, the Gang Unit, traffic enforcement, and a recently retired long-time Boise Police officer.
